Shot on assignment for Issue 10 of Boat Magazine. I travelled to the far north of Israel in search of Akhzivland, a magical micronation near the border of Israel and Lebanon, which was once a small paradise founded in the 70’s by a man called Eli Avivi which became a hippie hideout and frequently visited place for celebrities , artists , musicians and free spirited people searching for a place to be free. Now Ahkzivland is a quiet and empty place visited by families on holiday filled with signs and memories of it’s vibrant past.
